Comparison of Designs

Round Coils

Cylindrical Geometry

Standard for general inductance applications, sensor technology, and compact assemblies. Easy to wind automatically, high reproducibility in series production.
Square Coils

Space-optimized

Makes optimal use of rectangular mounting areas on printed circuit boards or inside enclosures. Ideal for applications with clearly defined space constraints.
Replica Coils

Custom Contour

Mechanically adjusted after winding—bent, compressed, or contoured. Adapts precisely to complex installation spaces and special geometric requirements.

Typical Areas of Application

Particularly advantageous for high-volume production and components with special geometries.

  • Sensors and Actuators
  • Solenoids and valve technology
  • Relay and Switching Technology
  • Antenna and RF components
  • Custom electromechanical systems
  • Miniature Applications with Limited Installation Space

Materials & Components

Enameled Copper Wire
High conductivity, good workability, and reliability—the standard for most applications

CCA wire
aluminum core with copper jacket—reduces weight and material costs; used, among other things, in satellite communication systems

Insulating varnish
Modified polyurethane or polyamideimide—depending on temperature class, dielectric strength, and chemical resistance

Baking varnish layer
Thermally or solvent-activatable—can be designed for strength, temperature resistance, or flexibility of the connection

Custom Design

Every application has its own requirements. The following parameters are specifically designed to meet your specifications:

  • Inductance (number of turns & geometry)
  • Design and Dimensions
  • Temperature resistance
  • Weight (material selection)
  • Frequency response
  • Tolerances & Reproducibility
  • Media & Chemical Resistance
